Application
This product is safe for swimming; however, wait 20 minutes after application before entering the pool to allow the product to fully mix with the water. In most cases, you can continue running your pool pump while using.
Initial Treatment:
Apply every 3 days for the first 2 weeks.
Maintenance:
After initial treatment, apply once per week.
Dosage by Pool Surface Area:
- Up to 800 sq ft – Use 1 oz per treatment
- Up to 1600 sq ft – Use 2 oz per treatment
- Up to 2400 sq ft – Use 3 oz per treatment
Adjust dosage proportionally for larger pools. Shake well before use.
Directions
Shake well before use. To apply, dilute the recommended amount in a small bucket containing 1 gallon of water. Pour one-quarter of the diluted solution into each corner of the pool or in areas where bees or wasps tend to gather water. Temporary foaming may occur but will dissipate shortly. The amount of solution required depends on your pool's surface area. Use the table above to estimate the appropriate amount based on your pool's dimensions, and adjust these estimates according to usage and the severity of the problem. Because it remains on the surface, its effectiveness diminishes with frequent pool use. Apply every 5 days when the pool is not in use and every 3 days when it is used frequently. Consider adding a maintenance dose after heavy pool activity. While this works quickly after application, it may take up to three weeks to fully eliminate the issue.
