BeeRepel is specifically designed to deter bees, wasps, hornets, and other insects from using your swimming pool or pond as a water source. BeeRepel features a unique, non-toxic formula made from common household ingredients, ensuring it's safe for the environment, children and pets. Importantly, it contains no pesticides or harsh chemicals.
We want to be clear—we love bees and recognize their crucial role in our ecosystem. However, we also believe there should be a way to gently encourage bees to seek alternative water sources, especially when they frequent areas like pools where they can pose a risk to children and others.  BeeRepel provides an effective solution to guide bees away from spaces where they aren’t particularly welcome.

POOL COMPATIBILITY

  • Compatible with chlorine, bromine, mineral purification systems, salt-water pools, ozone and biguanide sanitizers.
  • Can be used in all types of pool finishes.
  • Does not contain any Heavy Metals, Pesticides or Harmful chemicals.
  • BeeRepel can be used on other water sources such as ponds, fountains, or lake

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

This product is safe for swimming; however, wait 20 minutes after application before entering the pool to allow the product to fully mix with the water. In most cases, you can continue running your pool pump while using BeeRepel. For guidelines on when to avoid using the pool pump, especially when treating for Paper Wasps, please refer to the reference below.

Shake well before use. To apply BeeRepel, dilute the recommended amount in a small bucket containing 1 gallon of water. Pour one-quarter of the diluted solution into each corner of the pool or in areas where bees or wasps tend to gather water. Temporary foaming may occur but will dissipate shortly. The amount of BeeRepel required depends on your pool's surface area. Use the table above to estimate the appropriate amount based on your pool's dimensions, and adjust these estimates according to usage and the severity of the problem. Because BeeRepel remains on the surface, its effectiveness diminishes with frequent pool use. Apply every 5 days when the pool is not in use and every 3 days when it is used frequently. Consider adding a maintenance dose after heavy pool activity. While BeeRepel works quickly after application, it may take up to three weeks to fully eliminate the issue.
